2. Course description The mind is an incredible thing, and if you've ever wondered about why some of us think differently than others, or why we forget some things and not others, then this A-Level in Psychology is an ideal course for you. You'll explore how memory works and why it often tends to be inaccurate when we've witnessed a crime. You'll learn how social barriers, our biology and our environments can affect the psychology of our brains, and also look at how a child's mind develops are they grow up. In year two, you'll explore issues such as why some of us are more aggressive than others, and how minds build certain relationships of authority but not others. You'll take a closer look at human behaviour and mental illness too, including schizophrenia, and debate these hot topics with other students in class.
