Written by and unique to Prohealth Ltd, a National Qualification which will ensure you meet the HPC regulation minimum standards for inclusion on the register of “Psychological Therapists”. Additionally, you will be qualified to work with children and adolescents.
This course follows the format of the seven unit model of CPCAB and gives special consideration to the particular challenges and triumphs that occur when working with this client group. An integrative model drawing on person centred, creative aspects of gestalt and family systemic therapeutic approaches. This course promises to engage, challenge and enthuse post-graduate counsellors to work with young people. The taught hours total 126 with 9 hours of tutorials.
Compulsory tutorials will take a study based format related to the course material. Further to this you will need to undertake 2 hours of self study per week, some of which may be via the virtual learning environment. You may request additional tutorials for personal support.
