Course programme

This 4 day PTLLS course is an intensive introduction and/or refresher to the basic principles of training suitable for those who are serious about getting a quality grounding in training techniques. Its hard work, but very enjoyable. The course is taught in small friendly groups with experienced trainers. The course introduces the following aspects of training:

 Understand own role and responsibilities as a tutor

 Understand approaches to teaching and learning

 Learn to plan courses and teaching sessions

 Understand delivery of sessions that are inclusive and motivate learners

 Understand different assessment methods and the need for record keeping
