The Introduction to Public Health and Epidemiology module provides an overview of important definitions and concepts, as well as an introduction to the changing panorama of public health problems.The sub-module aims to provide you with the foundation of public health and a series of themes that underpin public health. It lays the foundation of ethics in public health and it takes a look back at the history of public health and epidemiology, followed by the health transitions. The module ranges from the foundations of Public Health, ethics in public health to principles of screening. English Requirements For those students whose first language is not English one of the following qualifications is also required:IELTS: 7.0Please note that due to changes in the UKVI's list of SELTs we are no longer able to accept TOEFL as evidence of English language for students who require a CAS as of April 2014.
