Course programme

You will complete 180 Credits for the Extended Diploma course. The course is a combination of five Mandatory and Optional Units, at 5, 10, or 15 credit points each. Units include: Government, Policies and the Public Services, Leadership and Teamwork in the Public Services, Citizenship, Diversity and the Public Services, Physical Preparation, Health and Lifestyle for the Public Services, Understand the Impact of War, Conflict and Terrorism in Public Services, Outdoor and Adventurous Expeditions, Police Powers in the Public Services and Career Planning for the Public Services. Throughout the course you will have opportunities to improve your Mathematics and English skills and to use appropriate computer software. Participation in a range of outdoor activities is an essential element of the course. Residential visits are an integral part of the course.
