Overview This course has a flexible modular approach focusing on the clinical specialties Radiotherapy.The course gives students the skills and knowledge to apply critical appraisal to practice and promote reflective and evidence-based practice.The course is approved by the College of Radiographers.Who is the course for?The course is for qualified practising therapy radiographers. who are typically at an early stage in their career (Band 5/6) and wish to study at Masters level. School of Health Sciences Entry Requirements: Applicants should hold a minimum of a lower second class honours degree in an appropriate field of Radiography, or the equivalent from an international institution.A Diploma from the College of Radiographers may be accepted, subject to successfully demonstrating the required academic level by completing a pre-course assignment (early application is recommended).Applicants should be practising therapy radiographers also having a relevant clinical placement for an average of three days per week or its equivalent for the duration of the Programme. The courses enable students to apply scientific, research, professional and technical knowledge to your role within Radiotherapy. Students will be able to build on the knowledge and clinical experience gained from professional work, allowing students to enhance their professional development and make a greater contribution to the healthcare process or treatment pathway.

Teaching and Assessment
A range of teaching and learning methods are used including formal lectures, seminars, tutorials, demonstrations/workshops, clinical practice, work based learning and self-directed study.
