This course gives you the inside track on careers in this fast moving sector. Cutting across many disciplines, it explores the design, construction and operations of railways and gives a valuable insight into what our future railways could look like.

What will I be doing?

• Designing and building trains, railway systems and components in a series of hands-on workshops run by railway engineering professionals

• Collecting data from your design-and-make railway project and analysing it to make better decisions and evaluate performance

• Meeting and working with engineers from the railway industry, drawing on their knowledge and putting your new skills into practice

• Taking part in question-and-answer sessions, with experts on hand to answer all your queries
