What will I be doing?

• Designing and building trains, railway systems and components in a series of hands-on workshops run by railway engineering professionals

• Collecting data from your design-and-make railway project and analysing it to make better decisions and evaluate performance

• Meeting and working with engineers from the railway industry, drawing on their knowledge and putting your new skills into practice

• Taking part in question-and-answer sessions, with experts on hand to answer all your queries

• Understanding the importance of budgets in the development of railway projects, allowing you to calculate the financial implications of your decisions

• Learning about some of the dynamic career opportunities in the railway engineering sector
