Course programme

RYA Day skipper Sail

Most students would have completed a Day skipper Shorebased course before commencing this course. The aim is to introduce skippering and give students an opportunity to develop their navigation, pilotage, boat handling and crew management skills under the watchful eye of an instructor. We can run this couse of a 5 day block or it can also be taken over weekends.

This course can be taken in the Solent or in the Algarve. Both destinations will enable you to get the Dayskipper Tidal qulification.

Stormforce Coaching is a fully reconised Royal Yachting Association Training Centre, a British Sub Aqua Club, Seamanship Centre and a British Water Ski Boat handling Centre. The company is a member of the Marine leisure Association and British Marine Federation. The company runs a wide range of Dinghy sailing, keelboat, multi hull, Powerboating, Motor crusing, Windsurfing, sail cruising, Pwc and shorebased courses. These courses run from Begginer up to Yachtmaster Ocean. We run these course in Southampton or Portugal.
