Lead roles are increasingly being allocated to trusted senior team members. The allocation of roles such as Decontamination, Safeguarding and Information Governance Leads are already requirements for dental care providers.
In teams where these lead roles have been used as tools for team development and have been allocated to throughout the team, the benefits of this whole team approach has secured improved team motivation and productivity.
Teaching
This is a taught course, in which each student is guided by a personal tutor; in this way students benefit from the ability to choose when and where they study with the support of a mentor/tutor. Each programme teaches a range of recognised legal and ethical codes which dental professionals must observe and enables students to embed GDC and Quality of Care regulations into every day practice activities.
On line aspects
Learning and reference materials are provided on line and students work is uploaded directly onto our online Student Pathway from where the tutor accesses your work to provide feedback and guidance.
Our learning materials are set entirely within the dental practice workplace as students contextualise the learning for their own practice
Courses consist of subject units each of which has a Student Notebook. Students are also supported with Learning Activities to develop their knowledge and understanding of the subject matter before creating assignments for assessment.
Please find an enquiry pack attached. Studying for a professional qualification whilst working is demanding, we recognise this and have designed a range of flexible programmes offering a flexible approach to enable students to develop a range of academic, professional and personal management skills.

Each student will have an allocated tutor who will mentor them through their qualification. Work for marking is uploaded to our website, where feedback is posted within two working days
This Reception Lead programme covers ten three-hour sessions- 30 study hours delivered in webinars and/or workshops leading to the development of supervisory management and audit skills.
