This 5 day in-depth RED technology course covers, Building a well equipped RED system, The importance of good communication with production and the DIT, Deliverables (SD, HD, 2K, 4K, web, file, tape), Workflow planning, Project and Data Organization, Footage analysis and feedback, Colour Management, Data Processing, Editing, Conforming, Grading, VFX, Finishing, Delivery.

• Exposing RED correctly – creating a ‘thick negative’
• Controlling exposure with the Histogram, False Colour, Zebra

• How to shoot in various lighting situations

A RED Camera and a variety of lenses will be on hand to allow all learners experience of operating. Additional hardware (lighting, microphones, screens, etc) will be available.

All post production workflow will be demonstrated on industry-standard hardware and software. Each learner will have their own iMac workstation fully equipped with all software packages needed.
