Introduction

This 5-day Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Fast Track course with exam course is designed especially for Linux Administrators. This course will provide individuals with an overview of tasks that are included in Red Hat System Administration I.

Pre-Requisites

Candidates are required to have:

• Experience with per-user 'at' and 'cron' jobs
• Experience using Linux
• Experience finding files with 'find' and 'locate'
• Experience navigating the GNOME 3 interface
• Experience editing text files from the command line with vim or other available programs
• Experience finding information in man pages and info nodes
• Experience with the concept of file permissions
• Experience using the bash shell, including job control (&, fg, bg, jobs), shell expansion (command, tilde, globbing, brace, protection from expansion), I/O redirection, and pipes
• Experience with interactive installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Experience using archival utilities such as 'tar', 'zip', and compression utilities
• Experience with the IPv4 networking addressing and routing concepts, TCP/UDP, and ports
• Experience with absolute and relative paths
