This qualification is a substantial vocational qualification, that will prepare you for a career as a reflexologist. A programme of study designed to develop your knowledge and understanding of the basics of reflexology to include theory subjects:Health & Safety, Anatomy & Physiology, principles and practices of complementary therapies and business practice for complementary therapies. It will also cover Benefits & Effects, Reflexology techniques, Contra-indications & Contra-actions, Preparation, Client Care, Record-keeping, Referrals, Aftercare & Homecare. Practical reflexology with assessments will also be included. Suitable for: Anyone over the age of 18 who wishes to obtain a professional qualification in Reflexology. No previous experience necessary, but a knowledge of anatomy & physiology an advantage.

About this course

A home study course of Anatomy & physiology will need to be completed before the course commences. This is provided for you in an easy to read workbook. A good standard of written & spoken English is required. A course textbook is recommended (see Course resources).

Course programme

An intensive programme of study which includes further sessions for assessments & portfolio presentation.

Achieving this qualification will equip you to become a Reflexology practitioner, enabling you to carry out professional treatments safely & effectively and you will be able to gain insurance to treat clients.

All the basic techniques are covered and up to a 12 week period allowed to complete 100 treatments during the programme to cover case studies and course requirements; these increase your confidence and skills in this fascinating & popular therapy.
