This Build your own MA (BYOMA) short course will support TEFL practitioners in managing your teaching practice across increasingly online and virtual environments. You will be introduced to a range of pedagogic principles, which can underpin blended approaches to TEFL, furthering the use of new learning technology in the professional English language learning context.
The teaching of English as a Foreign Language has been remediated by new learning technologies in the last decade. Virtual Learning Environments (VLE) are used to teach those who wish to learn English, or those for whom English is a second language, and who want to come to the UK to attend Further or Higher Education. A combination of learning technologies and classroom practice, have served to move TEFL practitioners to the forefront of blended modes of pedagogy.
This short course then is a learning technology focused adjunct to the approved TESOL, CELTA and DELTA teacher training programmes.
In this short course you will be exposed to the latest research in relation to creative pedagogy and the use of technology in learning. You will encounter a range of experts in your field, and new research methodologies and ideas.
