Repair & Refinishing

Course Content

Course students are invited to bring an item in need of repair/restoration. You will start by assessing work to be done. Commencing with work needing clamping and gluing, progressing with veneer repairs. Then onto splits, dents and cock-beding repairs. You will colour and polish new work to blend in with original. Finishing with ring marks and water-damage. Demonstrations of vrious repairs which may not be covered by work brought in.

Course Day

The course starts at 9.00 am and finishes at approximately 4.30 pm each day. Lunch and refreshment breaks take place in line with the course schedule.
