Reptile Encounter: Site Broomfield Hall

Course Content: The course will cover the care of reptiles including handling, health checking, cleaning out and feeding. How will I be assessed? Assessment is by observation of your practical performance. A College Certificate of Attendance will be issued on completion of the course. Are there any additional costs or specialist equipment required? Steel toe-cap boots should be worn and these can be borrowed from the unit if you do not have your own. (Please check we have your size when booking on the course.) You will also need to wear trousers/jeans. Protective lab coats are worn in the animal unit and these will be provided for you on the day. What can I do after this course? You may wish to participate in further Animal Care courses that the College offers to enhance your skills.
