The Master of Research (MRes) is gained through successful completion of seven taught courses undertaken in the School of Education and the School of Social Science and a dissertation reporting on research of approximately 15,000 words. The taught courses involve the acquisition at Masters level of a number of research skills within a context focusing on an understanding of research within educational settings.
