Retaining Staff

Retaining Staff Recruitment is an expensive, time and energy consuming activity.  Frequent turnover of staff can not only be demoralising for staff groups, but can have an enormously negative impact on service users.  In exit interviews managers often belatedly learn why staff are leaving and what they could have done to retain the member of staff in the service.  This course therefore aims to help managers understand their role in retaining staff.  This will include team and individual motivation; creating a stimulating and rewarding environment, issues of individual responsibility, support, managing conflict etc
