Course Overview:
Key Areas:
- LOLER 1998.
- Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 (Sections 2, 7 and 8) and other relevant legislation.
- Establish loads, construction and safe use of rope, wire rope and chains, hooks, eyebolts and shackles.
- Hand signals.
- Correct slinging techniques.
- Safe working practises and the effects of angles.
Rigging and Slinging can include the BS121pt1 1989 crane regulations. Pendant cranes training can be delivered to customers on-site.
