Risk assessments are vital in the workplace for safeguarding the health and wellbeing of staff. Already, Health and Safety Executive statistics show that 609,000 workplace injuries were reported between 2016 and 2017 alone.

All managers or supervisors are responsible for health and safety in their offices, and risk assessments play a key part in this. Workplace health and safety assessments should be conducted in mind of the working environment itself, as well as in view of specific activities to ensure safety is a focus at all times.
