About this course

Careers in ‘risk management’ are likely to remain relatively buoyant as an employment option.

This is because as the world becomes ever more unpredictable and unstable, in business terms, the demand for risk managers is likely to be ongoing.

This is also added to by the increased amount of ‘risk regulation’.

Applicants will normally hold an undergraduate degree in any subject with a minimum pass of 2:2, or equivalent overseas qualification.

The course is accredited by the Institute of Risk Management and you can also earn full exemptions from all six papers of their Diploma level professional examinations. This will allow you to apply for full GradIRM status, one of only four such university programmes in the UK. In addition, after three years of work experience, you can apply for full Chartered membership.
