RLSS Trainer Assessor Pool Lifeguard Course

What will you gain?

Upon successful completion of this course and probationary period- you will have achieved the status of RLSS Pool Lifeguard Trainer Assessor and the ISRM Unit 2 Trainer Assessor.

The course is structured in the following way;

Day 1 : Unit 1 Train The Trainer

Day 2: Unit 2 Train The Assessor

Day 3 : Unit 3 Delivery of Basic Life Support

Day 4/5 : Unit 4 Specialist Pool Lifeguard Unit

Day 6 : ISRM Unit 2 Trainer Assessor

There are two courses being delivered in the autumn.


Park Pool Ormskirk: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th 8th & 9th, December 2009.

The course times are 8.30am each day, generally the course will aim to finish at 6.00pm but due to the nature of the course you must be flexible. So it is advisable not to make any evening arrangements.

Following the course, we will ensure that you are supported in your probationary period to achieve full pool lifeguard trainer assessor status. We can either do this by delivering one of your own courses or you can be mentored on one of the courses which active training network deliver working with the existing trainer's. We will endeavour for you to achieve your status within a year.
