Road Haulage / Freight Operators Licence
This qualification is for professional bus and coach drivers because just holding a vocational driving licence is not sufficient for someone who wishes to drive these vehicles for a living. When Driver CPC Period Training is completed the DVLA will issue a blue Driver Qualification Card DQC which looks similar to the driving licence. PCV and LGV Drivers must carry this card when driving, It is a professionally evidence that they have completed Driver CPC.

Course programme

STANDARD OPERATORS LICENCE: allows an operator to carry goods for other people for hire and reward both nationally and internationally.
RESTRICTED OPERATORS LICENCE: for own account operators to allow an operator to carry goods in the course of his own trade or business in the UK or abroad for which no CPC holder is required but the operators background knowledge is essential to meet O' Licence requirements.
Exams are held four months a year; March, June, September & December. Usually held on the first Friday of the first week of the months listed.
Exams are in two parts, each lasting 2 hours:
Part One is Multiple Choice (60 questions – pass mark of 42)
Part Two is Case Study (between 6 – 8 questions with a total possible 60 marks available and a pass mark of 30)

Full exam day includes a FREE light lunch
