· Overview of two day course.

· What constitutes successful "Roadside Assistance".
· Outline Roadside Assistance Safe Working Practice Document.
· Health & Safety and other relevant legislation.
· Overview of "Drivers Hours" and "Carriage Of Dangerous Goods".
· Roadside safety issues.
· Personal qualities of roadside assistance Technician.
· Roadside assistance - Post Office Vehicle Services.
· Proceures for call out.
· Systematic questioning and oral diagnostic skills.
· Roadside assistance vehicle.
· Equipment and tooling.
· Important checks of roadside assistance vehicle before going to breakdown.

· Practical exercises - "A" class roads and Motorways - group coaching.

· Course evaluation. Additional Information:
Attendee's should have their own Personal Protective Equipment available.
At the end of the course, attendee's will be assessed and should be able to demonstrate sound knowledge and practical abilities (where appropriate) in the subjects listed in the content section.
A certificate will be issued on satisfactory completion of the course.
