Measure up for a blind and buy fabrics *Cutting out your fabrics and lining , Attaching your fabric to the lining. Preparing Rod pockets, Mark out the fold positions, and attach rod pockets. How to hem your blind, and attach the velcro at the top. Marking the positions of your cord rings, and attaching them to the blind. Measure accurately cord lengths needed for your blind, attach them and finish with an acorn. Cover your wooden baton with a matching fabric, and positioning your screw eyes into the baton. Suitable for: Intermediate sewers that are already competent on a sewing machine

Course review:
This is an intermediate sewing class, you need to already be able to use a sewing machine before attending this workshop.
During the course of the day, you will learn all the techniques required to make a lined roman blind on a scaled down version.

Additional information
This is the first of our soft furnishing workshops, we will also be running classes on curtain making, and an intermediate cushion making course, covering skills like zips, box cushions, piping and fabric embellishment.
