Progression:
After completing the shore-based course, with more practical experience the student can progress to take the Coastal Skipper / Yachtmaster practical course at a RYA approved sailing school.

Exam:
Assessment is continuous using exercises set by RYA and 3 invigilated assessments towards the end of the course. Students will be kept informed of their progress throughout the course.

Students are obliged to purchase a proprietary plotting instrument and dividers (approximate cost 27.00).
Duration:
30 weeks at 2 hours per week.
