Course content:
An introductory course in basic seamanship, navigation and meteorology suitable for beginners and people with limited experience in yachts.

Course structure:
Operated as a two-hour evening class, over two terms. This course can be delivered as an intensive course if adequate numbers are available.

Progression opportunities:
This course is considered as the first part of a series of three courses designed for leisure sailing. The progression would be to Yachtmaster Offshore and then finally Yachtmaster Ocean.
