Progression:
After the Day Skipper shore based course the students will be ready to take the Day Skipper practical course with RYA. This can then lead to Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster shore based qualifications

Exam:
Assessment is continious using exercises set by RYA with 2 final assessment papers towards the end of the course. Students will be kept informed of their progress throughout the course.

RYA Day Skipper Certificate

Other Costs:
Students will be expected to purchasethe RYA Student Pack (Approx 27) and navigation tables (Approx 5)

30 weeks at 2 hours per week
