Course programme

RYA Dayskipper Shorebased

This course offers an introduction to chart work, seamanship, collision regulations and meterolage. It is equally suitable for both power boaters and silors.

The course assumes no previous knowledge.

It is aimed at those who will attend a DaySkipper Practical or Advanced Powerboat course and is totally classroom based.

Each student is provided with a pack containing practce charts and navigation tables. The course can be run as a five day block, over weekends or as night school.

Stormforce Coaching is a fully reconised Royal Yachting Association Training Centre, a British Sub Aqua Club, Seamanship Centre and a British Water Ski Boat handling Centre. The company is a member of the Marine leisure Association and British Marine Federation. The company runs a wide range of Dinghy sailing, keelboat, multi hull, Powerboating, Motor crusing, Windsurfing, sail cruising, Pwc and shorebased courses. These courses run from Begginer up to Yachtmaster Ocean. We run these course in Southampton or Portugal.
