RYA Yachtmaster Shorebased

Intensive training on Coastal and offshore navigation, pilotage and meterology.

This course is ideal for those who want to improve their navigation, attend a Coastal Skipper practical course or just brush up on their skills.

The course is suitable for power boaters and sailors alike. It is also good preparation for a Yachtmaster Offshore practical exam.

The instructor will assume you have a reasonable theoretical knowledge of navigation and have some experience of putting it into practice.

This course is totally classroom based and can be run as a five day block, over weekends or as a night school. Included in the course fee are the RYA Yachtmaster pack and handbook, three assessment papers and certification.

Stormforce Coaching is a fully reconised Royal Yachting Association Training Centre, a British Sub Aqua Club, Seamanship Centre and a British Water Ski Boat handling Centre. The company is a member of the Marine leisure Association and British Marine Federation. The company runs a wide range of Dinghy sailing, keelboat, multi hull, Powerboating, Motor crusing, Windsurfing, sail cruising, Pwc and shorebased courses. These courses run from Begginer up to Yachtmaster Ocean. We run these course in Southampton or Portugal.
