  • To be aware of current legislation/guidance papers in this area.
  • To identify vulnerable adults, likely abusers, types of abuse and the signs of abuse.
  • To be aware of employees’ own responsibilities if abuse is suspected.
  • To better equip individuals to understand, take appropriate action and respond in relation to alerting abuse.
