You will ensure disabled children are safeguarded from harm by an increased awareness of their vulnerability to abuse, be able to recognise and respond to concerns about disabled children, ensure that the needs of disabled children are addressed within the child protection process and understand legislative changes and how they impact upon services to disabled children. This course is ideal for all those who work with children - and you do not need any prior knowledge of safeguarding to take part.
