Course Summary

Learn how to safely and efficiently use a safety harness.

On completion of the course you will understand the statutory requirements and the need for safety training. The course covers PUWER¹ and LOLER², Health and Safety at Work Act. Construction Welfare, EN Product Standards and Personal Protective Equipment Regulations. Also safety inspections, introduction to working at height, daily checks, safe access and egress, edge protection.

As a record of your achievement, a TAL certificate of training is provided.

Course Duration

Half day according to the type of height work and delegates previous experience – maximum 4x delegates per course

Training Records and Progressive Assessment Report forwarded to Employer

Comprehensive course manual and Safety code issued to each delegate

Staff Instructors

All TAL staff instructors are accredited by the appropriate accrediting body and are also fully experienced, trained, tested and certificated.

Payment options: Within 20 mile radius from our Training Centre in Coventry Daily Instructor Rate - Weekdays £290.00 Daily Instructor Rate - Weekends £325.00 £15 daily fuel charge £5 administration fee per certificate Over 20 mile radius from our Training Centre in Coventry (UK mainland) Daily Instructor Rate - Weekdays £290.00 Daily Instructor Rate - Weekends £325.00 Round trip mileage charge of 40p per mile. £5 administration fee per certificate An overnight subsistence charge is made to cover our Instructor's accommodation for all courses over 80 miles from our offices in Coventry.
