Safety-Related Control Systems for Machinery EN ISO 13849

Where machinery uses control systems to reduce risk to the operators, they need to be specified and designed appropriately. The procedure and requirements to achieve an appropriate design is described in the international standard EN ISO 13849-1. This course will explain the requirements of the standard, and is suitable for both project managers, importers and purchasers, who need to know what to specify to their suppliers, as well as control system designers and engineers who are responsible for designing safety- related control systems.
