This half-day workshop will give you an understanding of the Construction Industry Taxation Scheme (CIS) with an introduction to Sage 50 CIS, configuration, setting up sub-contractor records and submitting online.

• Familiarisation on the operation of the CIS scheme, and what your responsibilities as contractors are
• Registering the CIS module with Sage and configuring Sage 50 Accounts for e-Submissions
• Completing sub-contractor details and verifying their tax status with HMRC
• Processing sub-contractor payments
• Producing sub-contractor statements
• Electronic submission of monthly CIS returns
