SAP BO (Business Objects) consists of high-end applications that help businesses in the complex decision making process. The core component of this module provides performance management, query and analysis, planning and reporting and enterprise information management. Some of the key applications of this module are Crystal reports, dashboards, Web intelligence, and explorer. Crystal reports help users to design meaningful business specific in-depth reports. Dashboards will guide users in making strategic and comprehensive charts and graphs to adjudge business relevant data. When it comes to Web Intelligence, in here a user can create adhoc query analysis report which will be useful for both online and offline based data. Lastly explorer is where a user can create queries to create relevant data. Business objects are like advanced templates designed exclusively to streamline the complex business processes of an organization. Some of the core concepts covered in this module are data warehousing concepts such as OLTP vs. OLAP, Types of OLAP, client tier components, security management, information flow, business object universes, Web intelligence, creating crystal reports, building dashboards.
