On completion of the course operatives will be able to interpret simple scaffold drawings. They will also be able, as a member of a team, to erect, alter and dismantle a range of scaffolds, covered in the course, safely and in the correct sequence. Suitable for: Candidates who have completed the scaffolding Part 1 course and have gone back to work on site for at least 6 months.

The Scaffolding Part 2 course is for operatives who have completed the Scaffolding Part 1 course and have returned to the workplace for a minimum of 6 months site experience. The course provides an introduction to scaffolding, covering the safe erection and alteration of a range of scaffolding structures. The course is a hands on course, with practical sessions to compliment the classroom theory sessions. In order to apply for the Scaffolders Card you will need to achieve NVQ Level 2 in Accessing Operations and Rigging Scaffolding.
