Description
The School of Divinity, History and Philosophy comprises Divinity and Religious Studies, History, History of Art and Philosophy. It has a vibrant research community and has fostered the development of the Northern Institute of Philosophy, the Centre for the Study of Spirituality, Health and Disability and the Centre for Scandinavian Studies among others. The School is also a major contributor to the Research Institute of Irish and Scottish Studies and the Centre for Early Modern Studies.The School presently includes over forty full-time lecturing staff, together with several part-time and honorary research/teaching fellows and a number of support staff. Administrative and support services are provided by a full-time School Administrative Officer, a full complement of secretarial staff as well as part-time librarian in Divinity.
