Course programme
All applicants will be invited to attend an Access Taster where full course information is given and you will be expected to complete the Initial Assessment and a written exercise. At the same time, an appointment with Katherine Alexander, our Careers Advisor is offered to allow you to be fully aware of all the options available to you, and make an informed choice of pathway appropriate to your ultimate career aim.
All applicants need to successfully complete Level 2 English and Level 1 Maths Initial Assessments. You will then be invited in on a separate date, usually two weeks later, for a one to one interview for approximately 1/2 hour.
Applicants who do not hold a GCSE in mathematics or English at grade C or above will be expected to gain these qualifications before their Access studies. The opportunity to achieve these qualifications can be discussed at your interview.
