Beth McCannis a lecturer in scriptwriting at Salford & Bolton University. She teaches, film, tv series, short film and radio and a guest speaker a various writing organisations. She has also ran the Northern Film Network and has been a script consultant for the regional screen agency.

Course programme

Course review:

This weekly group takes bookings in 6 week blocks.

You can work at your own pace and focus on different elements of your writing, whilst bouncing ideas off other writers.

If you feel like you've stopped writing or need a little push then the groups are perfect to get the creative juices flowing and to help build your portfolio of work.

We include actors reading your scripts on the final sessions of the block to bring the scripts to life and really help for further development.

Writers in the sessions are currently pitching their work, studying on MA's and some have had their scripts made.
