What I would highlight: Many thanks to my Assessor who was brilliant and really motivated me. Would recommend SDL & him to anyone who wants to have fun while learning and producing the evidence that enabled me to get my NVQ. My manager is also very pleased and is very grateful for SDL's work. I am progressing to Marketing level 2 to increase my skills or level 3 in Business Administration and am looking forward to it. Have a go as its worth it!

What I would highlight: My Assessor, was great and gave me support throughout all the qualification. Very helpful and honoured all appointments and gave me feedback on all work I submitted, a very different experience to other colleagues with other providers! We will use again certainly as professional & knowledgeable! All units were structured and planned and I felt in control at all times and confident of success.
What could be improved: There was nothing I didnt like at all - they provided excellent service!

What I would highlight: Thoroughly enjoyed the course and cannot praise my assessor and SDL Training enough. I have learnt so much and also have now got a recognised qualification that enables me to work and assess in the learning and development industry while basing it on my occupational competence - from start to finish I have had tremendous support and also have learnt so much that will put me in good stead for the future. What I would highlight: Found the starting the course process easy to do. Had a session that identified what I had to do to complete the qualification and my assessor Tom worked with me to follow this through as I had a lot of experience that counted towards the assessments. He explained everything to me always and this was good. No need to attend college or to travel distances as he came to me on site at arranged times and this was really useful and also saved me time and money. Felt confident and wasnt talked down and enjoyed seeing how well i was progressing with him. Had a good experience and would recomend this to anyone who needs to get the qualification and like me doesnt have the certificate - The assessor was great and his experience and knowledege was good as he understood what I was doing and also understood about sites.

What I would highlight: Easy to contact, discuss and enrol. Assessor comes to you and is in regular contact. Planning assessments is done together and once submitted feedback given. Staff at SDL are very pleasant and also flexible in working around you and timings. The assessor travelled to me when promoting services & giving advice at a county careers day . Credible and quality provision.

What I would highlight: Course options are great and Tom, my assessor/trainer from SDL, was really helpful in helping me decide what units would be suitable for my current and future work and career ideas. No travelling or taking time off work as he visisted me monthly when it was convenient but kept me focused by varied contact inbetween. Very pleased with the course, the service he provided was excellent and felt highly motivated at all times and will certainly use SDL for an apprentice when I start my new business project.

What I would highlight: We use SDL for all our staff training as they provide an independent and professional service that is very cost effective. This new qualification has been provided under the new QCF standards and is very much focused on work based learning and we are using this more and more as it is more suitable than PTLLs or similar. SDL understand and also can deliver to individuals &/or groups and can work with novice or experienced staff and offer a professional service. Their dedication & knowledege is inspiring and all staff report good things about the team always.

What I would highlight: The level is exactly right and the units available allow you to decide on a suitable route. Excellent discussion & planning and then assessment planning was the key to being successful and also the regular meetings and the contact options. Knowledge was addressed by various methods that always seemed appropriate & using the holistic approach is really a winner! Length of course is just about right as there is no rush but it is incredible how quickly it comes together under this method and I was impressed. QCF is completely understood and can transfer the knowledge gained.
Responsiveness and sheer customer service is consistently delivered. Pricings are highly competitive and worth every penny - in fact should be more looking at the competition. The feeling of confidence, motivation and empowerment to be able to succeed and quickly is rather special and I have remembered many things in undertaking this activity via reflection & discussion and also have learnt and want to develop more - mentoring received is fantasic! (Staff inc. Directors provide IAG, TNA, assessment & verification + you get to work with them - a great ethos!) Sheer understanding of the QCF and CBQ standards and also the application of skills, knowledge & understanding - cannot be beaten.
What could be improved: Initially being unable to find a suitable supplier that had accreditation, integrity & follows up on requests & more importantly actually had product knowledge! - Thankfully found SDL!

What I would highlight: Very pleased with whole service and the staff that make up the company! From initial enquiry through to the completiion I have been impressed & also cannot fault the service provided. I went with SDL on a trusted recommendation and it was certainly a good one! I met & discussed at length what I wanted to get out of it and then a plan was drawn up to achieve and regular contacts/visists ensued. Felt completely supported throughout and confident in my choice. Dealt with real people who have real experience and a wide knowledge & are tireless in their desire to help you. Excellent value across the board (cost being lower than expected & based on current climate!) & being able to work as well as produce unit work was the key 'seller' for me and recommend this to others who have similar lives & schedules, who want to validate their experience and obtain a suitable high level qualification.

What I would highlight: Realistic in attitude and planning - realise that individuals have work and life to contend with. Very responsive and understanding yet get results and consistently receive excellent feedback about them. Support offered to staff was bespoke and well received and unlike what we had previously experienced in the past from other companies. All fears were unfounded and realised quickly. Staff have incredible knowledge and are personable and friendly and also install confidence and are pleasing in that they can offer literacy and numeracy included as well as confidence building also and this has been very useful! Secure and confident in their abililty at all times.
Actually do what they say they can do! They provide professional and qualified staff that have real work and life experience and are approachable and amenable an can deal with all ages and abilities. Staff known by name and were constant - communication was faultless at all times, Creative and fresh always. Frank and in-depth and create excellent solutions to training needs. Tailor each visit as required and work outside of traditional business hours to deliver their services and will do evenings and weekends if needed. Also will meet in or out of company - excellent flexibility.
What could be improved: No comments to offer that are negative - always a positive reaction and will work with them again.

What I would highlight: Professional and deliver - friendly staff and always helpful and communicate /meet appointments consistently. Named Assessor who stayed the course & supported without fail and all other SDL staff were constant too! Fantastic feedback from staff who were learners. Very pleased with service and outcomes - their knowledege base is practical & informative at all times and will use always from now on. Responsive and offer a more personalised service that is not about numbers or sales! Genuinely work with you to achieve and develop your staff. Customer service is excellent.

Having over 20 years experience in delivering NVQs, Apprenticeships (Youth & Adult ) and Employer Responsive Training to private, public and voluntary sectors in many roles, we have formed to collect all our strengths, experience & knowledge and to provide an excellent service to the individual & employer - we are very knowledgeable and experienced and also strive to be 'the supplier of choice'!
All staff are highly qualified and experienced individuals who all are up to date & current in their knowledge & competency and have full CPD. SDL has a high benchmark for its staff and all are min level 4 trained and have a full teaching qualification plus of course many years industry experience that is current and functional.
