Self-esteem can take a dive in this fast-changing, technological and informational world. We often feel overwhelmed, inadequate and useless, and our personal foundations may feel insecure. We may get stressed out over these feelings and then we are on a downward spiral towards, perhaps, poor eating, too much drinking or smoking, not sleeeping well, and eventual ill health.
Self-esteem means being comfortable with the person you are. You appreciate your own worth, treat your own needs as important and take pride in your abilities and achievements.
