Advanced Short Course in Garden Design
Requested by students who have previously completed our 'Design Your
Own Garden' course, Simon Pyle and other tutors cover surveying, including
ground shaping and 'cut and fill', then you will work through a 3 week
contemporary urban garden layout, detailing and planting plan. During the
second half of the course, you will move on to a country garden project,
again covering all the thought processes and drawing stages needed to be
able to present your work confidently to a client. Costing, specifying and
construction detailing form part of the programme. We expect a high degree
of commitment from all participants so that they produce a high standard
of imaginative work. A list of drawing equipment will be supplied in
advance.
