Course programme

If you want a career as a composer for film, TV and media but are unsure how to get started, this course will give you the essential professional knowledge and skills to understand how the industry works and get your work noticed.

We offer practical advice on everything from pitching for work, and constructing a good show-reel to writing music for all the major areas of the industry from commercials, TV and film dramas and documentaries, to library and production music for online use and the games industry. The course provides a solid understanding of the process, workflow and essential skills required to work successfully within the industry, illustrating with real-world case studies what every composer wants to know about how to make a living through writing music for media.
