Course programme

This one-day or evening course will teach you how to navigate this powerful and flexible software so that you are able to take skills from the course straight into your work.

In an age of internet media and high-speed broadband, video has quickly become the most important element of web content. With viral videos on sites such as Youtube and Vimeo racking up millions and even billions of hits and people able to view and share media on their mobile devices, understanding basic video editing is an invaluable tool for modern marketing, media and digital professionals.

On this short course, you'll quickly learn the skills to create and edit short videos. You'll be taken through the essential stages of capturing, editing, applying text, exporting and uploading footage to the internet and will, over the duration of the course, create a video of your own and gain skills to take away from the class.

This course can be taken as a one-day course on a Saturday or as an evening course over three weekday evenings.
