What is the course about?
This course is intended both to build on the skills and techniques developed on the Confiedence to Sing Course and to encourage students who have had some experience of singing chorally. You will continue to develop vocal skills through warm ups, relaxation, breathing and singing techniques, building a repertoire of songs in a choral situation for fun and relaxation. Singing is an excellent stress buster! You will continue to work on pitching and interpreting songs from a variety of genres for performance in terms of performance style, pitching and rhythmic awareness.

To develop confidence to sing
To develop the ability to perform songs with correct pitching and rhythm

Are there any additional requirements?
Just a desire to sing. Students should bring a bottle of water to class with them.

How long is the course?
10 weeks.

Cost?
none, although if you want to learn a particular song, you will have to purchase your own music sheet.

How will you be assessed?
Although there is no formal assessment, students who are in attendance for a minimum of 90%, will receive a certificate. You will also have the opportunity to complete a final performance in front of family and friends.
