Overview At a glance This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to be competent in a range of well-developed tourism sales, operational and tour delivery skills. Work would be undertaken in an office environment where the planning of tourism products and services takes place, in the field where tourism products are delivered or a combination of both. Application Mode Distance Courses/Units Fifteen (15) units must be successfully completed - four (4) core units, eleven (11) electives. Availability Distance Education Duration12 months Intake Dates Enrolments are taken throughout the year on a continuous basis. Hours of Study Approximately 370 hours of study time will be involved however, the training duration will depend on the electives and study mode selected. Career Opportunities Possible job outcomes include: attraction or theme park attendant; booking agent; cellar door salesperson and guide in a winery; guide and salesperson in an Indigenous cultural centre; museum attendant; operations consultant for a tour operator; visitor information officer.
