CIOB - Certificate and Diploma

What's it all about?:
Our course is aimed at established construction site managers and supervisors or those who have just become site managers and supervisors. Site management tasks need to be accurate and deliver projects with the certainty of time and cost. You will learn how to set up and maintain the smooth day-to-day running of a site. You'll ensure that work is being carried out to specification and on schedule. You'll also learn how to encourage your site team to work to recognised health and safety standards.

Progression:
Successful completion of the seven modules of the certificate will lead to the Licentiate of the CIOB. Passing the further seven modules of the diploma will lead to associate membership.

Entry Requirements:
In our experience in order to be successful on this level of course you will need one of the following:
• 60-120 UCAS tariff points - any combination
• a BTEC national award in a related subject
• an NVQ Level 3 in a related subject
• equivalent qualifications or relevant work experience.

Duration: One and three quarter years

You must study a total of 14 modules from the 16 listed (subject to us being able to offer them) to get the full diploma. Modules two, five, seven, eight and nine are mandatory.
