Skirts, Bustles & Bows
This day contains a full collection of dress variations with couture techniques for creating individual designs for that special occasion. A selection of skirt styles will be made by all including richly pleated trains with their correct interlining, full gathered skirts, plus interlining. Also tips for quick, even gathering and triple cord gathering for rich fabrics.
Over and under bustling trains for the evening. False hems, padded and weighted hems, horsehair braid, lining and adding separate petticoats, rolled edge nets and satin bindings. Finally adding a few romantic touches with two piece bows, Dior roses, scrunched silk roses and leaves.
Notes will be given for cutting full netted petticoats.
