Course programme

Before you start You will be required to complete an activity before you start in order to help introduce you to the subject. Download the transitional activity Year 1 At AS Level you will examine families and households in contemporary British society, and the education system and research methods – looking closely at sociological factors which affect students’ academic performance. Year 2 Areas of study in year two include the changing role of religion in modern society, crime and deviance, research methods and sociological theories.
