Songwriting Workshop : A Weekend Retreat

This weekend is the perfect opportunity to take the time that you never seem to find in the busyness of daily life to develop your songwriting. Whether its working on something you just can’t seem to finish, or starting something new, there’s plenty of writing-time with guidance available from the tutor as well as the inspiration of a tranquil rural setting. There'll be creative exercises to take us off in new songwriting directions and 'Forum Time’; when we share work as a group, discuss and get feedback.

Notes: Participants should bring electronic keyboards, guitars & other instruments they use for songwriting, headphones and an extension lead for electronic instruments. A Dictaphone or mp3 recorder may also be useful for documenting your work.
